Massey wins second Daytime Emmy

LOS ANGELES - For the second year in a row, an actor with ties to north Georgia has won a Daytime Emmy award.

Chandler Massey, the son of former Georgia Secretary of State Lewis Massey and grandson of Abit and Kayanne Massey of Gainesville, won the Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor. Massey plays the role of Will Horton in the daytime drama "Days of Our Lives."

"Days" also was named Oustanding Drama.

Massey is a graduate of Norcross High School.
