Community Housing Festival planned June 22

GAINESVILLE - A Community Housing Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 9 a.m. until noon at Longwood Park in Gainesville.

It will include housing assistance resources, rent assistance information, skills training, employment resources and utility cost assistance information.

Housing counselors, lenders and community groups will be available for consultation. Music, face painting, food and more will also be available at the park, which is located across from Gainesville High School on Pearl Nix Parkway.

The Community Housing Festival is the result of a collaboration of community partner agencies, the City of Gainesville and Hall County Government.
