Jackson County issues missing person lookout

JEFFERSON - The Jackson County Sheriff's Office went to the public Thursday afternoon for assistance in a missing person case.

According to the sheriff's office, 25 year old Joshua Scott Adams was last seen Tuesday in the area of 1145 Brockton Loop in Jefferson.

He's described as 6'3" and 215 pounds. Authorities said he has brown eyes and short brown hair.

Adams also has a tribal tattoo on his right shoulder and chest and a tattoo of "AVA" on his right foot. He was last seen on foot wearing tan shorts and a green long sleeve shirt.

Investigators didn't release any details regarding the circumstances of his disappearance.

Authorities ask anyone with information on Adams' whereabouts call 911 or the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at (706)-367-8718. Investigators are also taking information on their anonymous tip line at (706) 367-3784.
