Former Hall, Jackson, Gwinnett educator returning to Gwinnett

LAWRENCEVILLE - A former educator in Hall, Jackson and Gwinnett counties, who has been with school systems in Alaska for the past several years, is returning to Georgia.

Dr. Allan Gee will be the new principal at Mountain Park Elementary School in Gwinnett County beginning with the next school year.

Dr. Gee served from 2007-2009 as Principal of Gwinnett's Centerville Elementary
and from 2003-20007 as Assistant Principal at Richards Middle School in Gwinnett.

He has been Principal at Homer High School in Homer, Alaska, since 2009.

At Mountain Park, he will replace Valerie Robinett, who, in turn, is replacing Kathy Jones, the retiring Principal at Camp Creel Elementary.

Dr. Gee is a graduate of the Gwinnett School District's 2007 Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Principal program. His appointment is effective June 3.
