Falcons ink cornerback Lee and kicker Shelley

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed cornerback Saeed Lee and kicker Jeremy Shelley.

Lee, 5-feet-11, 160 pounds, participated in the Falcons rookie mini-camp following the 2013 NFL as a tryout player. He had 34 tackles, including three for loss, in his senior season at Alabama State in 2012.

Shelley, 5-10, 165 pounds, served as the place kicker for the back-to-back BCS National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide. In 2012, he set a school record with 63 extra points and his 166 career PATs are the most in Alabama history.
