Dawsonville woman regularly terrorized by black bear seeks assistance

A Dawson County woman says a black bear that attempts to break into her home on many nights has her fearing for her personal safety.

Dawsonville resident Stella Millsapps, 81, has lived in her current home for 30 years. She says the unwanted visitor, who roams the area surrounding her home frequently and comes onto her porch every 4 to 5 nights, is wreaking havoc on her property.

"Well, it comes round and tears up everything around the house," she said. "It's got into my garbage, it tears my bird-feeders down
