Athens church offers home foreclosure help

ATHENS - Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Athens is working with the D&E Group to offer a free seminar to help area homeowners avoid foreclosure. The seminar is scheduled for Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants in the seminar will learn how to apply for the HomeSafe Georgia program, as well as make loan modifications in order to avoid foreclosure.

This Saturday's HomeSafe event will be held at the church on 610 Epps Bridge Parkway in Athens.
