Track: Chestatee girls set new school record for distance relay

The Chestatee girls 4x1,600 meter relay team blistered the competition at the West Hall Relays this past Saturday and in the process set a new school record over the four-mile distance of 24 minutes, 5 seconds.

The team consisted of Sarah Beth English (5:48 mile), Maggie Wilson (6:08), Yaritza Carrillo (6:13) and Tori Mullinax (5:55).

Later in the day Mullinax, a senior, also set a best time of 5:37 to anchor the distance medley 1,600.
