Baseball: North Hall starts with victory over Lumpkin Co.

GAINESVILLE -- The North Hall baseball team opened its season with a 10-4 win over Lumpkin County on Monday in Gainesville.

Preston Graham earned the win on the mound for the Trojans, pitching 4 2/3 innings while striking out seven. Graham also had a hit at the plate. Colton Duttweiler pitched 2 1/3 innings relief, striking out two.

Lincoln Hewett helped lead North Hall's offense, going 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs, while Stephen Murray went 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs. Andrew Smith also finished 2-for-4, while McCoy Savage and Corbin Lewallen also added one hit each.

The Trojans will play again on Friday against Chestatee.
