GHS theater group scores at state Thespian Conference

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville High School's Thespian's Troupe 2445 attended the State Thespian Conference in Columbus over the weekend.<br /> <br /> The GHS troupe was awarded the GOLD Honor Troupe status, the highest honor a troupe can obtain.<br /> <br /> Junior Lauren Carter was elected as a state officer and will serve on the newly- elected board for her senior year. Other honors received were:<br /> <br /> Molly Jenkins: Superior musical solo event<br /> <br /> Superior Ranking : Cast of "Curious Savage"<br /> <br /> Excellent Ranking: Casts of "Heart to Hart" and "Nine to Five"<br />
