Boys basketball: Warriors snap skid, whip Banks County

HOMER -- White County snapped a four-game losing streak with a 94-42 blow out win over Banks County Friday night on the road.

Jordan Egerton had 19 points to go with eight steals to lead the Warriors (9-14, 3-9 Region 7-AAA) to a much-needed win.

Eddie Hurst led White County with 14 points. Whit Mauney had 10 points for the Warriors.

Will Ledford paced Banks County (5-17, 1-11) with 13 points and Austin Venable added 10 for the Leopards.

White County next will play host to East Hall on Tuesday while Banks County will play Oconee County on Saturday at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
