Girls basketball: Chestatee falls in Lake City Classic

ACWORTH -- Chestatee was held to just 13 second half points in a 53-36 loss to Hiram Friday in the Lake City Classic at Allatoona High School.

The Lady War Eagles (9-3) rallied from an early deficit to take a 23-18 lead into halftime. But Hiram used a 16-5 third quarter to take control.

Bridgette Kelly had 12 points to lead Chestatee. Kayla Watson added 10 points for the Lady War Eagles.

Chestatee next will play Sprayberry at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lake City Classic.
