DAWSONVILLE - Authorities in Dawson county said they had to pull an SUV out of a sinkhole that opened up in a store parking lot during heavy rains.
WSB-TV reports that no one was hurt in the incident Sunday afternoon in a Home Depot parking lot in Dawsonville. Authorities said a wrecker pulled the Nissan SUV from the sinkhole around 2:30 p.m.
They estimated the sinkhole to be 10 feet long by 5 feet wide.
Two other cars were moved away from the hole as a precaution.
