By Derreck Booth Anchor/reporter
SANDY SPRINGS - Authorities in the Sandy Springs and Roswell areas said the body of a man discovered in the Chattahoochee River late Thursday morning may be a missing man.

A fisherman discovered the body near the floating dock at the base of Overlook Park off Morgan Fall Road, according to Sandy Springs Police.

Police and Fire units responded and took the body to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office for identification.

A release from Sandy Springs Police indicates the body may be James Morris. He disappeared from a park in Roswell near the Chattahoochee River last Friday.

Roswell Police and Fire are handling follow up with the medical examiner's office.
