Pregnant woman, unborn baby killed in Gwinnett crash

By The Associated Press
DULUTH, Ga. (AP) Gwinnett County police say a pregnant woman and her unborn baby have died in a car crash.

Department spokeswoman Michele Pihera told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution 19-year-old Katerin Metina was killed in a three-car crash late Saturday night.

Authorities say 30-year-old Erasmo Santos-Ordonez was charged with vehicular homicide, feticide by vehicle and failure to yield while turning left. Jail records also show that an immigration hold has been placed on the man. Officials say he'll appear in court Monday.

Jail records say Santos-Ordonez is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County jail.
