Girls basketball: Lady Trojans stay perfect with Banks Co. win

The North Hall girls basketball team maintained its perfect start to the season on Tuesday courtesy a 62-55 win over Banks County in Gainesville.

Sydney Cleveland put up 20 points to help lead the Lady Trojans (4-0, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) to the win, while Sadie Cleveland added 12. Katie Sayres also scored 10 for North Hall.

Taylor Kennedy put up a game-high 21 points for the Lady Leopards, who will look to bounce back at Rabun County on Friday.

North Hall will play again at 1 p.m. Saturday against West Hall in the Lanierland tournament in Flowery Branch.
