Woman injured in glue incident at Banks Co. store

By Staff
COMMERCE - Banks County authorities said a shopper at a Home Depot store at Banks Crossing was the victim of a cruel prank last week.

Authorities confirmed the woman used the restroom at the store and became stuck to the toilet seat because someone had put glue on the seat. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene and transported the woman to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment of her injuries.

The manager of the Home Depot told authorities he searched the restroom and found a brown paper bag containing a bottle of Loctite GO2 glue inside. He said all three toilet seats had been coated with the glue. No one else was injured.
