NTSB gives update on fatal Dawson County plane crash

DAWSONVILLE - The National Transportation Safety Board held a press conference Tuesday where the agency shared information pertaining to their ongoing investigation of a plane crash that claimed one life in Dawson County Monday night.

According to a report from Fox 5, NTSB investigator-in-charge Heidi Moates detailed several aspects of the investigation, including setting forth the agency's immediate plans for handling the crash site and the surrounding area.

"We've taken witness statements and we've gone through them, and now it's part of the process to look at the engine," she said. "
