'Christmas on Green Street' set for Sun.; street closings announced

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Historical Society's annual "Christmas on Green Street will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, from 4:00-7:15.

Gainesville police spokesman Kevin Holbrook says Green Street will be closed from "around 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (and) all the side streets leading onto Green Street will be closed at Green Street."

Holbrook added officers will be on hand to assist motorists and that motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly for a detour.
