Van leaves highway, lands in creek

By Rob Moore Reporter
CLEVELAND - There were no serious injuries in a wreck that landed a vehicle in the creek Saturday in Cleveland.

Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said his department was called to the single-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 129 just north of Allison Drive around 2 p.m.

Pruitt said a van left the road and went down an embankment and into a creek.

The passenger in the van was taken by ambulance for treatment of what Pruitt called non-life-threatening injuries.
