Police ID body of woman found near Interstate 75

By The Associated Press
MCDONOUGH, Ga. (AP) Police say they've identified the body of a woman found near Interstate 75 in Henry County as 55-year-old Robin Lynn Hubbard.

Sgt. Joey Smith told WXIA-TV that the woman, who is believed to be homeless, was found Sunday afternoon in an area where homeless people are known to gather.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a preliminary investigation found no signs of foul play.

Temperatures in much of the metro Atlanta area dropped to near freezing overnight. Authorities say they're unsure whether the drop in temperature contributed to the woman's death.

Authorities said an autopsy was planned.
