Third shooting victim found in northwest Atlanta

By The Associated Press
ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta police say they discovered a third body in the woods behind a house after finding two other men who had been fatally shot the day before.

Police have said they responded to a house in northwest Atlanta Friday night and found two men dead of gunshot wounds. Police spokesman Greg Lyon says authorities were called back to a house Saturday after a man found his friend's body in the woods behind the house.

Deputy Police Chief Shawn Jones told WSB-TV that evidence led investigators to search the inside of the house on Friday, and nothing indicated that a third victim could be in the area.

The identities of the victims haven't been released and police are unsure of the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
