Clarkesville man the latest arrest in Hall County sex sting

By Derreck Booth Anchor/reporter
GAINESVILLE - The latest in a series of arrests in connection with undercover Internet sex sting operations the Hall County Sheriff's Office is working happened Monday with the arrest of a Clarkesville man.

Allen Wayne Reynolds, 46, was arrested in Gainesville when he arrived at a pre-arranged meeting place for an alleged sexual encounter with a child, according to sheriff's Sgt. Mark Mitchell

As with previous stings in the county, the suspect had made the arrangement on the Internet. Instead of a child, he was communicating with an undercover investigator.

Reynolds is being held without bond in the Hall County Jail on charges of enticing a child for indecent purposes and one count of aggravated child molestation.

Authorities made the arrest Monday, without incident, according to Mitchell.
