Barrow Co. investigates death of Statham man

STATHAM - Barrow County investigators are not releasing much information at this point, but they say they are checking in to the death of a man found dead in his home in Statham Tuesday morning.

Barrow County Sheriff's Office Lt. Matt Guthas said the 24-year-old man was found dead around 8 a.m. by a family member who also lived at the home on Kirkland Circle.

The name of the deceased man has not been released yet.

Guthas said the cause of death is being withheld at this point while investigators collect forensics evidence at the scene.
