WINDER - Atlanta Falcons running back Jason Snelling was arrested by Winder Police Friday morning according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Snelling faces misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Winder police told the AJC that Snelling's arrest was the result of a traffic stop.
According to the report Winder authorities pulled over Snelling's SUV, saying that he was weaving and crossing the center line.
Team officials said they are aware of the situation but declined further comment calling the situation a legal matter.
The Journal reported that Snelling missed Friday's team practice session and is listed on the injury report with a non-injury related knee problem. His official staus for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay was listed as "questionable".
