Suspect flees after shooting a Gwinnett party

LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County police said they are looking for a suspect in a deadly shooting that happened at a party in Lawrenceville Sunday afternoon.

When authorities arrived at the home on Crystal Lake Drive, they found a woman dead in the garage. Another woman had been injured.

The suspect is identified as 40-year-old Ohave Whitfield. He is described as black, about 5 foot 8, weighing 165-lbs.

A felony murder warrant and aggravated assault warrants have been obtained for his arrest. Whitfield was last seen driving a Teal/Green Volvo S80 GA Tag PRI4493, according to investigators.

Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
