Cornelia woman arrested for Jackson County burglary

JEFFERSON - A Cornelia woman faces a charge in Jackson County for allegedly breaking into a residence.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum, Charlotte Jane Martin, 29, forced her way into a Braselton home and stole medication.

Martin was arrested Tuesday at her home in Habersham County and taken to Jackson County to face the charge.

Mangum said Martin is also a suspect in a Pendergrass area burglary.
