RMA Corps of Cadets to march in Atlanta Veterans' Day Parade

By Staff
GAINESVILLE - The Riverside Military Academy (RMA) Corps of Cadets will march in the Atlanta Veterans' Day Parade, one of the nation's largest Veterans' Day events. Veterans' Day is Monday but the parade will be held tomorrow.

This year's parade theme is "Honoring our Korean War Veterans and All Who Preserved Freedom."

RMA is no stranger at the parade. It has won the President's Trophy for best marching unit the previous four years

The Freedom Ball will follow later that evening at the Georgia Aquarium. The Riverside Military Academy Color Guard has been invited to present the National Colors at the Freedom Ball, and Cadet Battalion Commander Harrison Summerour will lead the attendees in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
