MOUNT AIRY -- Mill Creek may not be headed to the playoffs, but it's not because of a lack of a firepower.

The Hawks showed as much on Friday, putting up a program record for points in a 62-0 win over Habersham Central on Friday in Mt. Airy.

Mill Creek (6-3, 5-3 Region 7-AAAAAA) put up 414 yards of offense, 343 rushing, including six carries for 99 yards and a touchdown from Johnathan Hawkins. Brian Efianayi also rushed for 55 yards and a score on six attempts, while Jordan Sylvain added 51 yards and a TD on three carries.

Mill Creek quarterback Daniel David rushed for 25 yards and a score and completed 3 of 4 passes for 71 yards and two scores -- both to David Curry, who caught three passes for all 71 yards.

The Hawks built a 41-0 halftime lead.

Carter Governale, Andrew Sciara and Evans Fontaine also added touchdowns for the Hawks.

Habersham Central managed 141 total yards and turned the ball over three times. The Raiders finished the regular season 0-10.

Mill Creek will wrap the regular season next week against Collins Hill.
