Man killed Friday in fall from Atlanta billboard

By The Associated Press
ATLANTA (AP) A man working on a billboard in Atlanta has fallen to his death.

Atlanta police Sgt. Greg Lyon told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the accident occurred Friday afternoon in the 700 block of Pollard Boulevard, across the street from Turner Field.

CBS-Atlanta reported the victim was Keith Fenton, 53, the owner of a billboard company. Co-workers told the TV station that Fenton, of Douglasville, had just climbed to the top of the billboard and was attempting to remove debris out of the way of other workers when he lost his balance and fell down the front center of the billboard.

Police said it appears the fall was an accident.
