By staff
JEFFERSON -- The seasoning Jefferson took in the early part of this campaign is starting to show in a big way.

After opening the season against six straight playoff teams from a year ago, the Dragons have stormed through their last two games, including Friday night's 68-0 defeat of Social Circle.

The Dragons (6-2, 4-1 Region 8-AA) have outscored their last two foes 109-0.

Jefferson out-gained Social Circle 368-75 on Friday, including 308 yards rushing.

Isaiah Blake ran his way to three touchdowns, while Sammy Williams added two rushing scores. Tristen Jackson, Zach Boobas and Blake Wright each added one rushing touchdown, while Rodney Carr caught a touchdown pass from Lane Sorrow.

Cooper Young also returned an interception for a score, while Maverick McKinney notched seven tackles, including four for loss.

Jefferson will travel to face Riverside Military next week in Gainesville.
