GAINESVILLE - Hall County has issued a reminder about a balloon test that a mobile phone carrier will conduct Saturday in West Hall.
Verizon Wireless will conduct the test at the site of a proposed monopole in West Hall between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
During that time, a balloon will be flown at the maximum height of the proposed structure at 5475 Allen Drive.
In the event of inclement weather, the test will be held Saturday, Oct. 26 between 9:00 and 1:00.
Plans for the test were discussed at a recent Hall County Commission meeting.
