GAINESVILLE - Hall County fire investigators trying to determine what sparked a fire a vacant mobile home in the north end of the county early Friday morning.
Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said the structure on Mark Trail off Shope Road was fully engulfed in flames and almost on the ground when firefighters arrived.
"Per the neighbors, this mobile home has been vacant for a couple of years," said Cagle. "Also, the neighbors stated that the owner had paid someone $1,000 to clean the place up, so we'll definitely be looking at that."
Cagle said firefighters were called to the scene around 3:45 a.m.
There were no injuries and no other property was threatened by the fire, according to Cagle.
