Volleyball: No. 4 Jefferson splits with N. Oconee, George Walton

BOGART -- The Jefferson girls volleyball team split a pair of matches Thursday in a tri-match at North Oconee.

The Lady Dragons, ranked fourth in Class AA, lost to host North Oconee 25-9, 25-13 but then rallied for a 21-25, 25-19, 25-13 win over George Walton in the second match.

Abby Wood paced Jefferson with 14 kills and 13 digs. Grace Williamson added seven kills and 13 digs, Olivia Przybysz had 17 digs, and Paige Watson had eight digs and 17 assists for the Lady Dragons.

Bre Arbanas had 12 kills and Madison Corbett had 16 assists for Jefferson.
