Body found in river is missing Gwinnett Co. man

JOHNS CREEK - The man whose body was found in the Chattahoochee River Monday has now been identified.

Johns Creek Police said Tuesday 29-year-old Omar Hugh Richards of Gwinnett County had been reported missing on September 22. Two kayakers found Richards' body in the river near the McGinnis Ferry Road bridge late Monday afternoon.

Investigators said they still have not determined how Richards died.
