Volleyball: Johnson splits with Chestatee, East Hall

The Johnson volleyball team fell to Chestatee but bounced back to defeat East Hall on Tuesday.

Chestatee got the better of the Lady Knights 26-24, 25-22.

Kasey Gravitt had three kills, Cassie McDonald four kills, Caitlin Parsons five digs and Katie Williams three kills for Johnson.

The Lady Knights edged East Hall 25-18, 14-25, 25-22.

Brooke Balenger had four aces, four kills and nine digs in the win; Kelly Chance had three aces, eight kills, six assists and 11 digs. McDonald had five kills; Gravitt had eight digs and six assists.

Johnson will play at West Hall on Thursday.
