Volleyball: Lakeview sweeps West Hall, George Walton

The Lakeview volleyball team battled through a hardfought sweep at West Hall on Tuesday, winning in two three-set matches.

Lakeview defeated George Walton 25-4, 14-25, 25-23 and then beat West Hall 25-17, 27-29, 25-18.

For the night, Katie White had 20 kills, 31 digs and four aces to lead the Lady Lions. Shelby Ross had 14 kills, four aces and two blocks. Bailey Towles also had 17 assists, nine aces, and three kills. Delaney Jarrett had 15 assists and 32 points on serve with six aces; Katie Gay had eight kills and 14 digs and Hannah Ackerman added six kills. Samantha Versteeg had 23 digs.
