Trinity Trot 5K set for Oct. 19 in Oakwood

The 18th annual Trinity Trot Road Race will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, starting at 10 a.m. in downtown Oakwood.<br /> <br /> Festivities will include a mile-run for kids with the 5K to follow. The race will begin around the playground and the Oakwood Family YMCA community center area.<br /> <br /> The Trinity Trot will benefit the South Hall Community Food Bank, and participants are encouraged to bring a can of food to donate. <br /> <br /> Cost is $25 per-registration or $30 day-of. This is a "Run and See Georgia" event.<br /> <br /> Forms are available at McEver Road United Methodist Church in Oakwood, or by going to www.mceverumc.org/trinity-trot.
