Boys basketball: Lakeview holds off Lumpkin, 55-52

DAHLONEGA -- The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team fended off Lumpkin County 55-52 on Saturday in Dahlonega.

Austin Montgomery scored 24 points to pace the Lions (13-6), while Joel Larsen added 14 points.

Meanwhile, Evan Gaddis put up 16 points to lead Lumpkin, while Austin Holman scored 12.

Lakeview will travel to take on Commerce at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Lumpkin County will travel to face Madison County on Tuesday.
