By Derreck Booth Anchor/reporter
UNDATED - A missing Habersham County teenager is back with her family after being located around noon Thursday.

Habersham County Sheriff Joey Terrell says 16 year old Kaylee Dawn Thompson was located at a friend's house in Jefferson.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum, deputies responded to Commerce High School acting on information regarding the case. They found Thompson, a Habersham Central student, at a house in the 900 block of Jamieson Court.

Thompson failed to come home from school Wednesday, prompting the lookout. Investigators did not indicate why the girl did not come home.
