Girls basketball: Fannin County pulls away from West Hall late

BLUE RIDGE -- The Fannin County girls basketball team held off West Hall 45-34 on Tuesday in Blue Ridge.

The Lady Rebels led 14-13 at halftime and increased their lead to 31-23 heading into the fourth quarter.

Kaelyn Gattis scored 13 and nabbed 12 rebounds in a losing effort for the Lady Spartans (7-11, 2-7 Region 7-AAA).

Molly Chandler, Lindsey Humphrey and Hope Cochran each put up 13 points to pace Fannin County.

West Hall will play host to Banks County on Friday at 7 p.m.
