Flood watch for most of north Georgia through Wednesday

The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for most of north Georgia through Wednesday morning.

In our area, the watch includes Forsyth, Hall, Banks, Jackson, Gwinnett and Barrow counties. It also includes Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin, White and Rabun counties.

According to the weather service, additional rainfall amounts of two to three inches are expected across the region, bringing totals of up to five inches in parts of the region by Wednesday morning.
