Volleyball: JHS pushes win streak to 5

SUGAR HILL -- The Johnson girls volleyball team ran its current win streak to five after sweeping a pair of matches Thursday on the road.

The Lady Knights (21-10) opened with a 25-16, 25-15 win over rival West Hall and then whipped host Lanier 25-14, 25-13 in the nightcap.

Kelly Chance had a solid night with 12 aces and 18 assists for Johnson. Lindsey Anderson had three kills and 12 digs and Lejavian Ratliff had four aces, two kills, and four digs for the Lady Knights.

Savannah Turk added two aces and six kills and Kari's Sloan had six kills for Johnson.

Johnson will be back in action on Tuesday playing host to Buford and Chestatee.
