Broun to host Banks County town hall meeting

WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Paul Broun, M.D. (GA-10) plans to host a town hall meeting later this week in Banks County.

It will be held at 4:00 Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express at Banks Crossing.

In addition to Broun, members of his staff will be available to assist constituents who are experiencing difficulties with federal agencies, such as the IRS, the Social Security Administration, or the Department of Veterans Affairs.

State Representative Doug Collins of Gainesville, the Republican nominee for the new 9th Congressional District, will also be on hand. Collins will face Democratic candidate Jody Cooley, also of Gainesville, in the Nov. 6 General Election.
