Shaw gets his first win as Rabun head coach

By staff
HAYESVILLE, N.C. -- Lee Shaw got his first win as Rabun County head coach, as the Wildcats pushed past Hayesville, N.C., 20-6 on Friday night in Hayesville.

The former Wildcats quarterback took over Rabun from Flowery Branch in the offseason and opened the 2012 campaign on the road Friday.

The Wildcats (1-0) got a rushing touchdown from quarterback Wes Holcombe, while the defense was led by two interceptions from Charlie Woerner.

Rabun County will play host to Towns County next week in Tiger.
