Gainesville outbuilding fire produces thick cloud of smoke

GAINESVILLE - A heavy cloud of smoke coming from behind a Gainesville home Thursday morning was the result of an outbuilding fire.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said a neighbor alerted authorities to the blaze in the 1300 block of Richards Avenue.

He said firefighters are working to extinguish the fire. No other details were immediately available.
