Hwy. 441 reopens after log truck overturns near Nicholson

NICHOLSON - A log truck that overturned south of Nicholson Thursday afternoon shut down Highway 441 northbound for approximately two hours and sent three people to the hospital.

Jackson County Emergency Services Director Steve Nichols said the three people who were taken to Athens Regional Medical Center received only minor injures.

Nichols said the Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident.
