Motorcyclist killed in Statham wreck

By Katie Crumley
STATHAM - A Bogart man has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in Statham.

Troopers with the Georgia State Patrol said the wreck happened around 9:50 Wednesday night on Wall Road just south of Georgia 316.

They said a 1994 Harley Davidson being operated by 52-year-old Terry Eugene Lee crossed the centerline in a curve while northbound on Wall Road.

Authorities said Lee overcorrected, causing the motorcycle to overturn and he was ejected. Lee was alone at the time of the crash and no other vehicles were involved.
