Gwinnett Co. judge candidate accused of stealing signs

GWINNETT COUNTY - A candidate for state court judge in Gwinnett County has been accused of stealing the other candidates' campaign signs.

Pam Britt told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that she had responded to an inquiry by the Judicial Qualifications Commission regarding sign theft and strongly denied the allegations.

Britt said she did remove two signs from a campaign supporter's property at their request about five weeks ago.

The originator of the complaint is unknown.

Britt will face off against Emily J. Brantley in a runoff Aug. 21.
