Hall County confirms 14th rabies case for 2012

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Animal Control said Monday a rabid raccoon came into contact with two dogs in the East Hall area late last week.

The incident occurred on July 12 on Renee Circle. Positive alert signs have been posted in the area.

Authorities said this is the 14th reported case of rabies for Hall County in 2012.
